So… Does AI work with Ad Layer? The short answer is yes. The longer answer: AI doesn’t just work with Ad Layer: in the hands of a talented marketing team, it can make the whole time needed for producing a campaign even shorter!
In a recent demo we did on LinkedIn ( check it out here ) we used MidJourney to generate high-quality sneaker product visuals (both images and video), fed them into a simple Google Sheets product feed (which we created prompting ChatGPT), and connected it to a template we made for this non-existent Scandinavian Smart Sneaker company in Ad Layer.
In just a matter of minutes, we (we being one person with a bit above average AI-tool-skills) built an imaginary campaign for an imaginary sneaker brand. Normally, doing this could take your team days if not weeks. Ok, this sneaker brand probably would not turn out highly successful, yet this experiment demonstrated the current powers of AI in action: faster asset creation, seamless feed management, and the ability to test ideas at lightning speed.

Here’s the key though: speed alone is not strategy. AI may handle some of the heavy lifting but creative professionals and marketers still remain at the heart of any great campaign. Tools such as OpenAI's ChatGPT (for copy generation and idea exploration), Runway (for AI-powered video editing), or Jasper (for scaling marketing copy) can all plug into a marketer’s toolkit. Yet even with these tools, the difference between a generic campaign and one that truly resonates lies in human judgment, brand knowledge, and creative instinct. To be unique, you need human intelligence.
